Greetings St David’s members and friends / contacts

Please find attached the Church Connections for last Sunday 19th May - Pentecost.  Chris rearranged the Order of Service as we started out with the Acts reading to set the scene. 

One of the hymns we had was She sits like a bird, brooding on the waters.  This is not used much in our worship so I hope you enjoy it.

Update on Chris Booth

Chris concludes his time with us on Sunday 26th May as he starts at Monash UC in June.  He will continue to work at Uniting AgeWell Noble Park so will be kept busy.  Come along to his last service.

Upcoming Events

Sunday 26th May at 2.30 pm Oakleigh Brass will have a concert in the church.

Sunday 2nd June our service will be led by Rev Anneke Oppewal, Presbytery Minister Pastoral.

Sunday 2nd June 2 pm Rev Bill Morgan is celebrating 80 years of Ordination at Glen Waverley Uniting Church.  Bill married Duncan & Yvonne Greensmith (many years ago) and has also preached at a service at St David's before Duncan passed away.  More details/rsvp from Faye.

Sunday 16th June at 2.30 pm Induction Service for Chris Booth at Monash Uniting Church - Dandenong Rd Clayton

Next Edition

We aim to have a Church Connections next weekend although it will be the last with a message from Chris.  We are not sure if we will get messages from those who take our services.
